He's exactly what the Kings need too. The Kings have no type of winning culture instilled in them. Thibs would get them right

Meh, he did that whole tour with Pop and whatever the last time he got fired and he learned jack squat. Made the same mistakes he made with Chicago over and over again.

Kings should sign him though. He’ll never be elite, but they need his ability to build a team from nothing.

They’re probably going to need to get rid of some of their chuckers though. Even Thibs needed to get rid of Fournier.

What same mistakes he made over and over again? We had the 3rd best offense in 2022-2023, 7th best offense in 2023-2024, 5th best offense in 2024-2025. To me that's major improvement since his last stint as the Timberwolves coach. And last year we got to the ECF with no major injuries. I think that tour he went on was very beneficial if you ask me.

He is 67 though. Not saying it's impossible to take accountability, make adjustments, and improve at that age, but Thibs is really going to have to defy the odds of human nature (and the history of NBA head coaches when they get to their late 60's).

Not only does Thibs have 13 years accumulated as an NBA head coach, but he came in as an NBA assistant coach at age 32 in 1989.

I don't know what else is left for Thibs to do in his career other than accumulating more wins as a head coach

The likelihood of Thibs making the Finals as a head coach is too unlikely at this point. Making it to the conference finals on 3 separate occasions, conference semis 6 times, and playoffs 10 out of 13 times is impressive enough.

As an assistant, he won a ring, and made it to the Finals 3 times.

Thompson/Bridges/Durant/Smith/Sengun would be downright nasty

Eason is great but he needs to show he can be consistently healthy before I take a huge swing on him. But I would absolutely love to have him on this team.
