You shouldn't really blame the United States for their problems...nonetheless things will subside hopefully.

maybe our super government can do something about it, or is there no oil in kenya? :nonono: :noway:

Not likely any action will be taken.

The society has hardwired its monkeys to be apathetic to such things.

You should watch the movie "Tears of the sun" with Bruce willis and Monica Belluci. That news is the same depiction that you see in that movie. It's a very sad film.

You all should watch Hotel Rwanda. Its a five star movie and depicts everything you are talking about.

The movie has some rough scenes but I recommend it to everyone.

That's just devastating.

(I had my green font ready for a quip about the Knicks and Darfur, but I just couldn't proceed further...)

You mean our same super government who didn't do squat for its own citizens during Katrina, and the one that continues to turn a blind eye to the holocaust in Darfur?

You mean the same government that stared a war that now serves as a training ground for a new breed of professional terrorists? That supported Sadam Husein (when he commited his worst crimes) and many other dictators? The same government that is guilty of commiting most atrocious terrorist acts in the history of our civilization? That supports Israel and its crimes against Palestinians? That doesn't take global warming seriously? That excludes itself from international law and is starting a new arms race? The same that topples foreign governments, invades states that threaten its interests and imposes sanctions on regimes it opposes and is placing the world ever closer to the brink of nuclear and enviromental disaster?

I saw that move, and what upsets me is how toothless the United Nations seems to be and how slow they react to such situations, but as soon as the USA steps in, they don't approve of it.... As someone said, there is no Oil there, so I guess many more will continue to die this way, it is sad, and something needs to be done....

Wait... are you insinuating that Al Qaeda ran its operations from Iraq when we invaded?
