The guy is still good, regardless of those who think otherwise.

Shaq is effective when he's on the court, but he lacks stamina to play over 30 minutes a game.

Wade >>> the Knicks

Heat = Knicks

Shaq != the answer for NY.

Shaq who won't be back for weeks b/c of his bruised hip?

He says the doctors have told him to stayoutuntil it's 100% and he says it's currently 60%. Do you think he's rushing back to help a decimated Miami team? Heck no.

Watch Miami get the top pick this season and draft Rose.

Derrick Rose/Wade/Davis/Haslem/Shaq

Or worse, trade Davis and Jason Williams expiring contracts for a big contract and another 1st rounder (which ends up being lotto) and resulting in...

Derrick Rose/Wade/Beasley/Haslem/Shaq.

Miami is really a team we should look to deal with. They have a rich owner not afraid to spend, they are sturggling, Riley might be getting desperate to make 1 more run with Shaq and they have some expiring contracts.

I would look to send them some of these guys:

Randolph, Curry, Crawford....and maybe even we could package in Jeffries.

Like wouldnt Miami at least consider:

Crawford and Randolph

for

Jason Williams, Zo, Ricky Davis, filler and a future 1st rounder.

Maybe even try to throw Jeffries into the deal for Smush Parker.

This type of move could really set us up to rebuild.

Uhm, you might want to rethink that.

Shaq is done. He might be able to help a team like Dallas in the postseason, but his days are numbered. Look for half a season more of serviceable center numbers from him, this season AND next. But he becomes a big and expensive coat/hat rack after that.

Miami doesn't have a 1st rounder to play around with at the moment, one's going to Minny pretty soon.

And why would Miami even give up a 1st rder to begin with when its getting 'nothing' in return? -- They are giving up expirings AND a 1st rounder for bloated contracts?

Miami's goal is to be UNDER the cap and with little to NO contracts under them in 2010 when Shaq is a FA so they can build a team around Wade.

In regards to your real point, "Shaq to NY, irregardless the cost", the answer is NO.

Now, when you can propose something that is a long-term answer for the Knicks ills, then please write.
