Fix the Knicks by starting a get Artest chant.

Post#1 » by NYKNICKS4Ever » Wed Jan 2, 2008 11:52 pm

What this guy will bring to this team is instant leadership and his fearless infectious attitude. Not to mention his defensive prowess and Offensive skills. He wants NewYork and we need him badly. I don't wanna hear nothing about his attitude and behavior.

No. Artest isn't the answer.

Plus, you trust Isiah to make another trade probably dealing away our pick? Insane.

Artest IS the answer. We get killed on D. Artest would make a huge difference in where opposing guards get their points. Anyone who argues this is not really B ball savy

Artest would definitely help make this team better...but is that the goal right now? IMHO Artest would help make this team a borderline playoff team. Great if that's what the goal is. As far as being out only 2-4 weeks? I'm guessing that it probably should be a couple months. From the Knicks standpoint that may be the best case scenario cause, honestly, you don't want to fudge any chances at landing one of the top picks in this upcoming draft.

Making trades to help this current team get better is not what we should be doing. We should be making moves to start over and rebuild with a better foundation. Moves like getting Artest take us away from that goal. We need to start by getting high picks.

Would you guys have to take on Bibby or Kenny Thomas?

Not unless the Kings don't expect Lee or Balkman.

I read that any deal would have to include Thomas. I think they are saving Bibby for Miami or the Cavs. With Balk in ITs dog house however dont you think he would include him in the deal? Plus you guys have Wilson who could get time.

Artest isn't going to help this team at all. He's more likely to make things worse.

I would do a Qrich/Crawford (whoever they want) + Balkman + Rose for Artest and Thomas ANY DAY

I think it has gotten to the point where absolutely anyone outside of David Lee should be traded for Ron Artest.
