Sacramento Bee -
Renaldo Balkman has been offered in various deals for Ron Artest as an alternative to David Lee, but it's made no difference.

The Kings are interested in Lee and Nate Robinson.

Isiah should play hardball. Give up Lee only if the Kings include a pick and take Jared Jeffries or Q with them.

I'll bet you a dollar that Zeke pulls the trigger and Lee is gone within a week.

Desperate men make desperate moves. Look for Ron Ron to do his recuperation on the Knicks' bench.

God, I hate the management of this team.

Goodbye Artest.

Lee is as untradeable for the Knicks as it comes. Lee gets traded, Isiah gets shot.

I am not kidding.

Are you going to do the shooting considering your mancrush for Lee?

Personally, I wouldn't mind Lee gone if we get a pick from the Kings and get Artest as well.

If Lee is traded, we better get something good for him.

Though the Knick crowd will be in an uproar if they hear Lee is traded.

Is this part of the tanking process?

Its not about the basketball skill its about the marketing of the team. Lee is a huge fan favorite, he gets the loudest ovations when he is coming in. Turn left, turn right, there is a picture of him or an interview or a commercial. If Isiah trades him, it has to be for as sure a thing as he can possibly get in order to convince the masses that its good for the team. Giving two fan favorites in Nate and Lee for Artest, then they dont turn this ship around. It would be his end for sure.

No trades unless we get DRAFT PICKS. But asking Isiah to realize this is asking him to realize the Eddie Curry trade was a bad idea. I can't believe he thought that was a good idea. I was livid and, to this day, this idiot needs to prove he can at least do ONE thing right.

i don't think he'll trade lee

but i wouldn't be surprised by wilson chandler & fred jones for artest

might explain why chandler suddenly got minutes against the kings

IF IF IF we trade for him, it seems easy:

Nate (they want)
Jones (expiring)
Malik (1 more year)

for

Artest
Shareef

Essentially they dump 1 extra year of salary and get Nate for artest.

If they need more, throw in Morris.
