If they want Nate, then trade him for Artest and give Fred Jones more playing time its that simple

1. They are rumoured to want nate

2. Balkman is a nice filler /addition at SF

3. JOnes is an expiring

4. Artest is going to bolt anyway and unless they do something now , they run the risk of getting nothing in return

True but still a horrible trade... Ohh and that pick would be a 2nd not a 1st.. We are not going to give up the best player and the best pick in the trade..

You dont trade a star and a possible lottery pick for 3 reserves.

Yes , for sure a 2nd rnder. Its possible because if he opts out which is what I am assuming Ron is going to do , SAC gets nothing in return. I'm assuming , much like the kg trade ,isiah will want to sign him with the guarantee he will stay with the KNicks. Boston traded for KG only when KG said he would not opt out and would stay
