When you are a bench player trying to get minutes you only have limited chances to make an impact to earn more minutes. If you come in and make a negative impact then your minutes will decrease as well. You add in Jones and jefferies who were both playing well defensively during a stretch and now those chances to get more minutes becomes even more limited .
How many times has Q Rich been burned for 3's? It would probably be more convenient to ask how many time Q Rich has NOT been burned for wide open 3s... (I hate that he always goes into the post to try to get a rebound rather than guard his man who is taking a wide open 3)
Not to mention that was 4 games ago and he was inserted very randomly into the game. Balkman stopped receiving minutes from the beginning of December (only 9.4 per game). Nevertheless he made a mistake which is not very uncommon for a second year player. However, the only way to learn from your mistakes is to get another opportunity which Isiah has not given him.
