Regardless of how good of a GM Kiki is or isn't....it really disgusts me how arrogant and pompous Dolan and this front office is. This team is in shambles...and it's almost like they're offended by anyone who thinks they can come in and do a better job. When are these MORONS gonna wake up?!?!?

Not to defend Isiah but considering we already have a GM, it would be pretty f ed up by Dolan to be talking to other people behind Isiah's back. I know I would be pissed if my boss did that to me. If he wants to replace Isiah, fire him first, then talk to whoever. Kiki is a snake for trying to take another man's job, we already have a snake, we don't need another.

This is def a bad sign. Maybe Dolan isnt even considering making a change?

who did those picks turn out to be?

i wasn't looking foward to kiki running the show in ny anyways.......

That would be the absolute worst way to go about doing business. You want to fire the GM without having any idea who the replacement would be, or who would be available? Thats not smart business.


And if you were doing as poor a job as Isiah, I'd keep the resume fresh.

He already knows who is available, come on now. I am talking about actually interviewing a replacement before the guy is hired. Kiki wanted an interview while the guy is still being the GM. That is not the way you do business anywhere.

I am not so sure about that. When they fired Layden, there search for a GM seemed to start and end with Magic. When he turned it down they just went with who he suggested. So i am not very confident that they have a long list of candidates.

A good team like the Spurs always keeps a list of possible GMs, scouts, and coaching candidates even though they have some of the best in the buisness. As soon Sam Presti left they hired a replacement. Always prepared. Meanwhile the Knicks are always unprepared. Typical.

Kinda agree that if they arent going to fire Isiah, then they shouldnt be interviewing candidates. But Dolan is a dumbazz anyway because he should be almost ready to fire Isiah.

Wow is Dolan blind?Does he not see how bad this team is?Does he not notice that we need a new GM,coach,and players(except for a few).I dont care that we didnt hire him but he should have AT LEAST talked to him.Nobody else in the world that has any type of experience in that field of work has any interest in the Knicks job.Hahaha we find someone that WANTS to be here(believe it or not) and we dont even talk to the guy...just sad

they interviewed magic and isiah before they fired layden. how else do they fire layden and hire isiah the same exact day?

He was not worth a max deal, I dont care how he was playing at that time and I remember how well he played against Duncan.
