It's the TO's and poor defense down low that kill the Zach and Eddy marriage. Not the way they play together offensively.

Sabonis last season was 2002-03 where he was pretty much running (and I use that term very loosely) on fumes. Zach Randolph was still a rolly-polly 2nd year player who was coming off the bench and playing nothing more than a bit part for the Blazers.

Nah...it's both. The problem is that because neither can defend effectively opposing teams generally jump to early leads which forces the Knicks to play catchup. That in turn usually causes Randolph to try to force things (can't knock it, he tries) and chuck things that he really shouldn't be doing and, apparently as a result, forces the more mild mannered Curry into his shell.

Yup, man up, Eddy.

Though I did see some good stuff from the two late in tonight's game. Yeah, yeah, too little, too late. But it's something. Zeke should probably make a choice between them as to who should start. When that guy gets tired, sub the other one in. Theoretically, they both should get going without the other on the floor. So much so that by the end of the game, we could put them in at the same time after they're both lathered up. Theoretically...

I say Marbury and Crawford should say to hell with it and call a press conference establishing that the team played much better when Lenny allowed them to shoot all the shots and all the bigs had to worry about was garbage baskets and defense .

"Cmon Zeke every team in the league is guard orientated and you have us deferring to these two knuckleheads " :D

Yeah it is something. and something is better than nothing which is what we're accustomed to. Benching one or the other from a basketball standpoint is an obvious choice. However, they both have complained about coming off the bench, but maybe the one that does it can get used to it if it results in wins. Anyway who knows when or if Isiah will seperate Curry and Randolph. I mean it took him god knows how long just to come to the obvious conclusion that Richardson stinks, so the season will probably be completely lost by the time he realizes Curry and Randolph doesn't work. That is if it isn't completely lost already.

Were you watching the MSG feed, or NBATV? As per MSG, Breen said Q suffered some sort of leg injury banging into Yao. So Nate started the second half in his stead. No doubt Zeke would have trotted out Q again if he was 'healthy'. And no doubt he'll get the next start as well if he's 'healthy'.

Q-Rich got a thigh injury.

Also, I think Zach should pull a Kobe and not look to score just to prove a point to his teammates. It sure would be funny.
