Uhm, the East isn't exactly 'hideous' anymore. The two best teams in the league reside in the East. There's a good shot one of them will be the Champs. But anyway, Zeke agrees, he could use a franchise player in the upcoming draft.

I don't know if I'd call the east hideous. what stands out to me about it is the 7th and 8th seeded eastern conference teams have below .500 records. but they are close to .500. Although obviously the west is better. Even the currently 8th seeded warriors have an above .500 record.
Damn, I'm looking at the standings, and I can't help but wonder how the hell did New Orleans get so good so fast? weren't they like terrible just a little while ago? I seem to recall a time of Dan Dickau running the point there. Now they have home court advantage in the playoffs.

Man, I just realized that Portland won again. They've won 16 out of their last 17, and are 7 games above .500. jeez judging from how they've played it makes me think that Zach must be one of the worse players in the NBA.

The Spurs are still the best team in the league until they are dethroned. Celtics are great, but they're not patriots.

Isiah has taken the air out of the basketball for yet another full season. Bottom line, this kind of basketball is simply not entertaining.

I don't know why New Orleans got so good so fast. Maybe the NBA 2k8 cover can help me figure it out.

Only 9 games from a playoff spot? Considering this team didn't win 9 freaking games the whole season this seems a bit out of reach.
