Knicks have 50 games left....can we win 33 of our next 50?

Does anyone believe this team could win 33 of the next 50 games to end the season 41-41. I say that because if you look at the past couple of seasons a .500 record usually gets a team to the playoffs in the east.
It starts with Chicago tomorrow night, a team that if we play well we definately have a chance of beating.

I think even 25-25 might be pushing it with the way we're going...

It sounds as if you all have given up on the season already. In January.

right now with the way Isiah is coaching and the way the team is responding Im not confident that we will win over 20 games this year total.
unless Isiah gets fired as coach or a major trade - not necessarily a flashy one but one that improves chemistry, balance and leadership - happens then no.

This pathetic team doesn't deserve to win. The fans, on the other hand, deserve hope in the form of a lottery pick.

I don't NYK wins more than 28 games this season the way this team is currently performing/ being coached. The fact that I have so low expectations for this team is extremely embarassing.

One of the problems with new york fans is that we always want a trade and they always give us a trade which is why we never get to build chemistry. All we've been doing over the past few years is trading and losing. We have to stop with the trades and let these guys gel for a enitre season or two or three or four. We improved last year, then instead of building on that we traded for Zach. Why? Why couldnt we build on last year. We need to stop with the trades and the fire isiah chants and all of that because it will only slow down the process. Yes the Knicks have serious problems, but they have to work through it and I have news for you all.....Isiah will be here for at least another 5 years whether you like it or not. So instead of encouraging change, encourage stability. Stability with our players and stability in the front office will bring stability in our record and the way we play.

dud, I hear you, but that's kind of talking was on point last year or two years ago,. Guys like Marbury and Crawford have been here for 4 or 5 seasons now, it's time to end this and think about a new backcourt.
Besides, some teams don't need more than a couple of trades and a training camp to turn things around, so why should we wait for 4 or 5 years to see things changing?
This year, after the Larry Brown fiasco, and the improvement from last year was supposed to be a winning season. Instead, we have to watch the worse team in Knicks history. Get rid of the veterans who have had the keys and led to this fiasco (Marbury, Crawford, Richardson on top of the list).

I will agree with you about the backcourt though.

Can we win 33 of our next 50?
Question followed by uncomfortable silence than hysterical laughter.
I'm not counting on it - not with the same roster mess we had way back when the summer started. Too many guys for not enough positions and everyone is pissed at one thing or another and boom chemistry goes out the window.
