you have a good chance of landing mayo or rose this draft, and before you know it isaiah will be dumped.

We don't have the remote control Adam Sandler had in the movie Click. That way we could just fast foward to that point and wouldn't have to sit through the crap.

honestly guys, it is almost the halfway point, and we are all numb to the losing now. The worst is behind us. By the time we hit the 55 game mark we will be so happy we have a shot at Derrick Rose or Mayo (Beasley better not be drafted we need a **** PG).

Or we could trade our first round pick and Malik Rose for Darious Miles.

We should be the upset at the pathetic state of our franchise for the entire decade.

But honestly, as a fan of 'blow up the roster' tank and rebuild, I'm happy to see us in the tank this year -- unless Isiah trades away the pick again!

It's not so much the losing for me (every team has to go through a period like this). It's that our franchise has become the laughing stock of the NBA. For that alone, Isiah needs to get fired.

Awesome.
Or how about Rose, Fred Jones, and the pick for KMart?

Which would cause you greater spiritual pain?

While you're at it, swing a 3 team trade and bring back Tim Thomas too! :nonono:

Mark my words, if Isiah trades away our first round pick, something bad will happen to him... (not by me, of course)

I won't be happy until the trading deadline passes ... I don't trust Isiah at all!!!

And even after the deadline .... he'll probably use the top pick to draft a nobody.

Mayo will be a bust...bank on it....

I would much rather have

Rose/Beasly/Jordan/Greene/Gordan

all of them over Mayo

we will probably have a late season surge, get fantastically lucky and get the 3rd pick from the ping pong balls, we will draft Mayo and we will be screwed for years. The End.

I guess I just dont see those guys as franchise players. thats depressing to me. to be in this situation and looking at a draft class that lacks superstar tallent at the top and isnt terribily exciting after 1-3

Isiah is good at drafting...so the perfect time to fire him would be the day after the draft

Darius Miles is done, I'll be surprised if he resurfaces. Two years with zero PT and a horrible rep. Sure he still has game, but so did JR Rider when he was banished by ALL the GMs.

Why is it half this board only wants to trade for "me first" nutcases with talent, but zero leadership or ability to improve their teammates?

Everyone is screaming for Artest, but he's yet another polarizing force which is the LAST thing we need (and his idiocy rivals Marbury). Also more than one person wants DARIUS MILES. Some want LARRY HUGHES (ugh...horrible fit on Knicks). T-Mac, while a damn good player is also a poor fit. He's a highlight reel when healthy, but a guy who misses 30 games a season with questionable injuries isn't going to motivate other players.

The trick to doing well in this league is to identify the cancers on the team, and either send their ass home, trade them for NOTHING, and rebuild with pure character guys and young kids with game. Then you need a long term plan. Sign character guys with game, even if they aren't the most athletic guys in the world, but guys with skill. Then you just have to wait for the right piece to become available through the draft or free agency.

The Knicks have little to no class anywhere in the ENTIRE organization, from the players to coaches to management. Zero direction, just an idiot for a GM playing fantasy hoops in the real world.

The only way to fix this team is to completely blow it up.......yes many of the players let loose will go elsewhere and do well. But so what, they are garbage here! Just roll with Lee, Robinson, Balkman, Chandler, Collins, Jeffries, Morris and see what happens. We'll lose but at least we'll develop our youth.

Then just wait for the damn draft. Get a high pick and take the best available. It always works, eventually. Unfortunately last time it happened to the Knicks was in 84 with Ewing.

I'm almost positive the Darius Miles comment was sarcastic, but I agree with your point

My only problem is not playing the Younger players more. What type of development will they get by playing spot mins...We're not going nowhere this season. Let them play!!
