You can either be a rah-rah fan or you can use some common sense. Winning does not just happen. You need to have a good team with a GM/coach who knows how to build a team. What makes you think these guys can win?
Does being positive work for you? Do you think if you cheer louder, these guys will play better? Not gonna happen. It's an extremely flawed team with an extremely flawed human being at the helm. Until that changes, this team will not succeed.

I have no problem with you wanting the team win. But what will that accomplish??newera wrote:Call me odd, but as a fan I want to see this team win all the time.
This team is a 30 win team, the only thing that does is leave the Knicks in the middle of no where. They won't make the playoffs because they'll win 30 games and they won't get a good position in the draft because they'll win 30 games.
You have to make a decision, either on the path to suck badly and get a good draft pick for the betterment of the future or go on the path to win 30 games and be in the same hole you were in the past 4-5 years and will be in the next 4-5 years.
LOL Y U MAD THO?

Really, it doesn't matter what we want, becuase the first choice is not going to happen, no matter how much we want it... We are 8-24 for a good reason, there is no digging out of a hole for this team, not these guys, and there is no playoffs, so it doesn't matter what the hell we wish for...
The second choice is just an eventuality, it is inevitable, and I am happy, hopefully it leads to Isiah's firing, Daddy dolan taking control of the team away from his drunken , idiotic son, and the knicks selecting derrick rose in the lottery......

I just want this team to do whatever it takes to win that's all.

to answer your question directly-- I want them to win and make the playoffs.
One of the most enjoyable times for me within the recent years was taking my wife (from SC) to NY to watch the 2004 elimination playoff game against NJ at MSG.
the whole place was on it's feet cheering Marbs and you could see the electricity in the air.
If the knicks actually went on a run and made it to the playoffs--it would be front page news and you would need riot police in the streets of NY.
Ofcourse this would probably never happen. But I would want it to and I would take money out of my savings to get tickets to any game.
Ofcours you have to plan for the future-- But tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.
