NY/NJ Trade
Nets Send:
Magloire
Malik Allen
Antoine Wright
2 2nd rounders
Knicks send:
Quentin Richardson
Why for the Nets:
We get a very good 6xth man to play 20 something mpg off the bench, and it makes RJ all the more expendable in the off season if he was to bring us a marque big man.
Why for the Knicks:
You guys are basically going no where this year(no offense), you have a million SG/SF's, Q Rich is probrbaly the most injury prone and one of the highest paid, and so you get slary cap relief with 3 expirings and a guy in Magloire that could possibly bust Curry's soft ass into shape before years end, and a guy in Wright who has a lot of potential, so you can either let him come off the books next year or resign him very cheap.
Albeit 2nd rounders you also get draft picks

Yeah, the Nets really want a backup small forward that can't shoot, defend and has apparently forgotten how to POST UP. The guy had a decent post up game that has just been missing in action.
How ironic. All summer we heard how his back felt soo good and how he could move and run and even dunk. Yeah, who's fooling who

In a second.
Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if a change in scenery would help Q out of his funk. But that's obviously a huge gamble for any GM to take.

Okay Krok, quit tormenting the Nets fans and impersonating one of them...

I can actually vouch for him and say that's not Krok...truthfully.

I don't know, Q Rich is a good defender and a great 3 point shooter. He also has a very reasonable contract and is a leader for this team. Every time he is on the court, he always does something good to help the team. His health issues seem to have disappeared ever since he had back surgery. I think it would take a lot more than that to convince Isiah to get rid of him.
