So much for benching Q....................

Rumor had it that Q was not going to be in the starting lineup last night; which in my opinion would have been the best decision by Isiah this season. However, Isiah has once again proved that he really doesn't understand why the Knicks are such a horrendous team, because if he did understand, he would have known that Q's inability to score as well as to defend his position are the main reasons for our failure thus far. We are a much better team when Q is not on the court, why is it taking Isiah and the coaching staff so long to recognize that?

I understand that he wants to help build Q's confidence, but winning is everything. We fall behind big in almost every game simply because opposing SFs have torched us also because Q is not able to buy a jumper.

Is Q in the starting lineup because he threatens to expose Isiah?

Q's presence on our roster has been nothing but trouble for the Knicks, which was very evident last night.

Expose Isiah as what? A killer.

I think Q plays because he gives effort, and he is the only option at SF that theoretically hit a jumper. If he's off, which he always is, then you can just yank him, which Isiah does. You can't bring Q off the bench, because he can't be trusted to contribute. I think it's either you start him and see if he can get it going early, or you don't play him at all.

actually Q was not supposed to be on the active roster. That was the reason the ref's were talking to IT about the roster sheet. Balkman was listed twice when it was supposed to list Q and Renaldo.

Still that does not explain why he didn't get a dnp (coaches decision) or, come off the bench.

Bottom line is this, Q should have not have played last night or for the next few games. he should be deactivated and allowed to go and find his game. His presence is detrimental to our team and drastic action should be taken to fix that. Balkman, Jeff and Chandler can offer a hell of a lot more collectively than Q. Make the SMART decision for once and deactivate Q. He is unhealthy and out of shape. I really don't give a darn about his effort, because if his effort was that good, our record would have been much better. I prefer Balkman or Chandler or Jeff's effort.

The only option at SF that theoretically hit a jumper?????????? Need I remind you that Q is only making 31% of his shots?

Hence my use of the word "theoretically". Even with the way that Q is shooting right now, if you had to bet on either Q, Jeffries, or Balk making a 3, who would you put your money on?

Did we not win last night? Did Q-Rich only play 12 minutes? What am I missing? Whats the point of this thread?

Q doesn't play much, that's the point. Who cares if he starts or not. And Q actually hits his first 1 or 2 shots, and then disappeares later. So if he starts, hits 2 shots and sits down is much better then coming in cold, bricking 2 and then play the rest of the game.
