53rd and 6th Ave (Chicken And Rice)

Post#1 » by Rich Rane » Wed Jan 9, 2008 7:53 pm

I went here for the first time a couple days ago. It seems pretty popular since it was around 2 AM and had to wait about 30 minutes to get to the stand. Just wondering if anyone on RealGM has ever heard of this.

yea man, that's a good spot my friend is in prison for a long time for an incident that took place right after getting food from there.

to be honest, it's waayy over hyped. There are much better tasting chicken and rice stands around queens with bigger portions as well.

the food isn't amazing either, but on the go, it's not bad.

I was staying at the Hilton nearby. My coworker heard about it and we waited for it. It was worth 6 bucks. The white sauce isn't bad either.

Bite your tongue.

I basically used to live off of it in college before it became a 2 hour line.

I have friends that swear by this place. They call it "C and R."

Apparently it's a late night thing.

Get smashed and go get some C and R.

What no one realizes is that on the other side of 6th Ave, its the same exact people with the same T-Shirts with alot less of a line..

They've even told us that their the same company.

No line ftw!
