Stats like Zach Randolph

Post#1 » by randomhero423 » Sat Jan 12, 2008 5:09 am

Is anyone that similar to Zach Randolph, where the #s are very good, but the effect on the game is negative/non existent? I can't really think of one guy. (please let's not make this a "zach or curry" or "zach is underrated." thread. thanks)

basically any star player on a bad team will put up stats but the team will still lose. no one is like zach though. no matter who he has around him he will make that team worse.

Gasol until Hubie, then again this year!

Al Jefferson last year and this year!

Should I continue and even go back to the past?

then why did NYK look x10 better when he was suspended for that one game? they really looked like a team when he wasn't on the floor and at times even saw decent ball movement.

Zach's slowly turning into Antoine Walker, Terrified me seeing him starting to enjoy taking 3's.

Antoine's a Champion though.

Troy Murphy(Though I like him alot) is a double double guy but was run out on GSW because he was one of the guys who made the team worse.

Id also nominate Richard Jefferson. Hes a solid 3rd option in a team but if he is the one who scores the pts for you and carries the team, the team will struggle(Like what NJ is this year compared to prior years)

They looked better because Curry came to play that night!!!

Why can't people understand that the other guys cannot lug his heavy non-productive a$$ over 82 games..

DA MN ALREADY!

This is the 3rd season, man --- this guys is the biggest problem we have!

OK, go ahead dump Zach's salary... and whatever! But until Curry comes to play CENTER every night, we will always be in the lottery.

Because Carter wasn't hurt this season and the Nets always start off on a hot-start????

GTFO.

Add Marbury to the list.

Carter has been playing alot of games the past 2 years though, and they were on a good start last season.

This is career highs for RJ.

I mean the Nets have went 2 for 2 in losses to the Knicks. Almost 1/4 of our wins have been vs that team led by RJ.

You've failed to realize that RJ had to lead the team because Carter was hurt.

I know he didnt have a choice but the team didnt do so great. When RJ was out 1-2 years ago for the season, Carter led the team and they did well if im not mistaken until they lost to eventual champs Miami.

Really? I can't agree. Buck was arguably the best defensive forward in the league. When he talent around him, he won.

Don't you think a Carter led team is better then an RJ led team 1-2 years ago??? Your pulling teeth here, your point is pathetic.
