Of course he does. He's not going to be punished for believing in the two of the biggest NBA talents and wastes of talent (Steph & Eddy) forever.

I think you meant the three biggest wastes of talent in the NBA. You forgot Zach.

Zach actually gets alot out of his God-given ability--he doesn't have the physical gifts most 20/10 players have, he just works hard on his game. If he had the physical gifts he would be a decent defender because he actually plays hard.

Because every GM makes some bad trades.

-GM in Toronto (did nothing)
-President of the CBA (went bankrupt, pretty much ran them into the ground)
-Coach of Indiana (lost in the first round every year, some would say they underachieved)
-GM in New York (Trading all of our expirings for Steph and Curry. The Larry Brown Saga. Steve Francis. Jalen Rose)
-Coach in New York (33 wins last season, currently 9-26. Every loss seems like a blowout, fan protests outside MSG, lost an $11 million sexual harassment lawsuit, feuding with players, 45 point blowout to Boston, Zach Randolph trade)

I say it MIGHT be possible for him to get a job as a head scout some years down the road. I can't imagine any NBA team snatching up Isiah after he is fired to be an executive of any sort.

as scout only..nothing more.

He'll get a job coaching an WNBA team, and will motivate his players by threatening to come on to them...

as a GM he will never get a job again. as a coach, I don't think we have seen the last of him if he gets fired.

He might be able to get a job as a scout for the Pistons (or maybe the Bulls, if Paxson leaves). If Layden could get an assistant coaching job in Utah then anything is possible.

I think this season's failure has vindicated Larry Brown a bit, so I think Isiah's crappiness will improve Brown's ability to get another NBA job more than it would his own ability.

I still think both sucked/sucks.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Maybe Bill Laimbeer will make him his assistant in the WNBA in Detroit.

From a performance standpoint I agree with the people that said he will get another job again despite the fact that he obviously wasn't successful here. But the reason I don't think he won't is because of an public image factor.

It's kind of the same thing with Butch Carter the former Raptors coach. He never got another NBA job not because he was fired as coach, but mores o because he brought shame and scandal to the raptors organization. I think its the same thing with isiah and the anucha trial, and his borderline (Please Use More Appropriate Word) comments about laying down a foundation, and winning a championship.

If Scott Layden can, then anything is possible.
