I'm not all over Zach but If either him OR Curry goes it should be Curry

Because Zach does what Curry does AND rebounds like Lee but better

David Lee will try, and he has picked it up a bit on guys like Yao. However, I do acknowledge his defensive deficiencies as well. Curry on the other hand still has the upside. I'm sorry, but it's true. Curry can jump. He just chooses not to.

You mean the upside that you'll see one out of every four games? I want both out of here but to mention Curry's upside is absurd. The guy hasn't shown that he can do it consistently for the past 7 or so seasons he's been in the league. He's not exactly young anymore in NBA standards. The guy's entering his prime and he's not showing any significant progress. The guy's a lazy bum.

While Zach has soured on me, I'd still want him over Eddy. He tries hard, he tries to step up, he can rebound, if you just put him on a leash and make sure he doesn't alienate the team, then it'll be all fine. You just gotta put Zach in his place. We just need a tough coach who doesn't alienate his players like LB did.

Curry first, no question, I have no use for a center who can't rebound or block shots and gets easily shut down by smaller defenders on offense.

How does Randolph rebound better then Lee? Lee averages the highest amount of rebounds on the team per 48 minutes and 40 minutes.

Zach rebounds & kicks it out. Zach rebounds & puts it on the ground.

I don't know if there are stats for this sort of thing but I have a feeling many of Zach's rebounds are off his own misses.

I think Lee an Him would average the same amount of boards if given the same minutes but I don't think Lee will ever get 22 rebounds

Zach, on the other hand, I'd be less inclined to ship out for exactly the reasons in the thread title. We've seen what Eddy can do, and I think last season was his ceiling. In less than half a season, I think what Zach brings is much more valuable to a team. Sure, he's been on nothing but losing teams, but its way too early to give up on him in NY.

In a perfect world, we'd be able to slide Zach to the 5 and get the same production, but he'd be a huge liability against scoring centers (not that Eddy isn't a liability on defense already...)

Yup. Or even start Lee at the 5 next season. It isn't that difficult to find a defensive center as well... shoot, I can live with JSlim there. I'd gladly do Curry for Dally and a conditional first (or even Thaddeus Young).

Its pretty obvious Zach Randolph is a better Power Forward than Eddy Curry is a Center. I agree completely that Eddy should be traded first.. I'm not quite seeing what the rest of you are if you think Randolph is more of a liability at the moment, or whatever your argument may be that Randolph should be the first to leave. Please enlighten me..

zach randolph does not understand the "team" concept. he also chucks the hell out of the ball and plays GOD AWFUL defense. rebounding is hte most overrated thing in the entire world. rebounding= effort. anyone in the league can rebound if they really tried and got into position. that's why a guy like curry should average atleast 8-9 a game.

and with curry, i honestly believe with a better coach (like pat ewing or hakeem) he can really improve. he can dominate a guy offensively (which randolph CANNOT) and he wouldn't mind defering to his teammates.

david lee > curry > randolph.

i'd trade curry if we can get value (expirings and either a young player who's ok or a first rounder), as in randolph i just want to get his ass off this team, and ust want shorter $$$

Sorry but I think if Lee gets the 22 rebounds, it'll result in a win.

If you really did watch games, you can tell right away David Lee is a much better rebounder then Randolph and the better overall player. Ask anyone who knows anything about basketball. Your love for him is blind, Randolph has zero value.

He has a point you know...David Lee doesn't chuck enough shots to get his offensive rebounds from.

Who to trade first? The answer is OBVIOUS.
It's whoever you get a good deal for first.

There really isn't anything else to say about this question.
