We send Mike James to replace Marbury who splits at the end of the season you send us Jared Jeffries. Would you do this trade? james doesnt fit Adelman system but he has value to another team.

James for Jeffries? It works in the Trade-checker.

And yes, I would do it, because James has a year less on his contract (assuming they would both pick up their options).

looking at the rosters there is only one way to make this move, and I assume its what you inteded.

McGrady, James
for
Marbruy, Jeffries

NY does that in two shakes of a lambs tail

I thought he was saying that they just give us James for Jeffries, and that James would be a replacement for Marbury, who likely won't be a Knick next season. That was my understanding of his post, although I could be mistaken.

That's a good trade for both teams.

oh, I see.

yes, Id do it too.

Ive always liked James. Hes a very solid defender at the point and a clutch player too. He won with Det and lead Tor to a respectable record before going to Mini to follow the money.

I think hes very underrated

Mike James sucks and is a shoot first pg

wtf, do you guys even want this team to be an eventual winner. I would only do this trade because with Mike James we would suck even more because he would hog the ball like Jamal and the bigs.

Mikes James is and has always been a shoot first point guard. And much like Marbury (just on a lesser scale) it makes sense because that's what he is. James is not going to be a starting PG for anyone especially not for this team so if that's fine with everyone then no problem.
