3 team trade:
Knicks give: Marbury, Randolph, Curry, Rose, collins, morris
Knicks get: Dalembert, Evans, Smush parker, haslem, Davis, Blount, Jason Williams, Miami 1st round pick 2008
Miami gives: Smush parker, haslem, Davis, Blount, Jason Williams, Miami 1st round pick 2008
Miami gets: Randolph, Marbury, collins, morris
Phili gives: Dalembert, Evans
Phili gets: Curry, Rose, 2008 2nd round pick
Why for phili: They lose dalembert, true. however, they get curry, who would add the offense that team is sorely lacking. In addition, phili loses evans, who still has 3 years left on his contract, and gets rose, who comes off the books next year. Phili drafts a pf with their draft pick next year
2008-2009
PG Miller (big expiring)
SF Green
SF Iquadalla
PF 2008 1st round draft pick
C Curry
Why for Miami: They believe that Shaq has another 1-2 years left, and this would load up Miami with talent. They get two young players who may or may not pan out with playing time. In addition, Marbury's contract comes off the books at the end of next year, assuming he is a disaster. This gives Miami a HUGE trade chip next year.
2008-2009
PG Marbury (big expiring)
SG Wade
SF Wright
PF Randolph
C O'Neal
Why for the knicks: They get a good pick next year from miami (probably around 10). Davis and williams are two big expiring contracts that come off the books at the end of this year (let them walk). This provides some cap relief. Dalembert is not a superstar, but is a complete center. The knicks mostly do addition by subtraction here, and they then cut parker and jerome james.
2008-2009
PG 1st round draft pick (miami), robinson
SG Crawford, Richardson
SF 1st round pick (NY), Balkman, jeffries, chandler
PF Lee, haslem, evans
C Dalembert, blount
This is a true rebuilding effort

Where does the second round pick come from in 2008? The Knicks traded it to acquire the rights to DNic, who was cut, and is now part of the DLeague players the Bulls have.
