If we were to be able to keep Curry, Zach, Lee, Crawford, Nate, Balkman and still have either Prince or Artest, who would you choose...?

Prince, because there wouldn't be enough ball for Zach, Curry, Craw, and Artest to share. If we got rid of Zach and/or Curry and started Lee, then I would rather have Artest.

They do the same thing, but Tayshaun's game is more 'normal.' Artest is kind of a tweener, he can guard 2s, 3s, 4s, sometimes even Cs and PGs. On offense though, he's more of a slow-moving post-up option that can kill your ball movement and makes dumb plays.

Tayshaun's an oversized guard that relies more on leaping ability, reach, and speed. He can guard all the perimeter positions, but I wouldnt put him on a PF with post game. On offense he has all the necessary skills, spot up jumpers, jumpers off the dribble, post ups and excellent dunking ability.

The thing is, the Knicks need a top-5 talent and while Tayshaun IMO would result in more wins, Artest can give the Knicks an identity. I hate to say it but Artest could be invaluable in inserting that blue-collar, 'defense wins championships' mindset. He can't stay more than a few years though... I dont see him being stable enough in the long-term to do more than develop that mindset and then leave.

artest is nuts...on this team i want artest just for kicks and giggles. but if this is for a rebuilt team or team going forward..prince is the type of player u want on ur roster.

Why would we keep Curry?

If Tayshaun doesn't have a solid shotblocker behind him then he's very vulnerable to strong forwards like Artest, James, Marion, etc. Off the Pistons, Tayshaun will not be that good.

Why did you pick Prince? We'd have a zero shot at getting him. Might as well make this a poll between Shane Battier or AK47.

^^^^
i would choose Battier, much more reasonable contract.

Artest and Prince only have like a year and a half age difference. So i choose Artest.

Artest. I think Prince works well in Detroit's system - just as Big Ben did. Put him on a different team and I'm not quite sure. Artest on the other hand has the ability to produce no matter where he is. Just so long as he holds it together.
Really? Jared Jeffries. Seriously?

I picked Prince because I like his game not because we have a chance at him.

Artest has as much chance of holding it together as Bill Clinton has of keeping it in his pants...
