OT: Nets getting BLOWN OUT

Post#1 » by GuyverADL » Wed Jan 23, 2008 3:59 am

Sacramento is lighting up the Nets from the outside.

I'd say sayonara to Lee, Balkman, and Robinson to snag Artest and Bibby and try to make a run.

Offensive options in order
Randolph
Artest
Bibby
Curry
Crawford

There is only one ball on the court. Not 5. Every single player in that starting lineup needed to dominate the ball to be effective.

That team wouldn't win 30 games over a full season. The only player on that roster who plays defense is Artest.

Who on this team now plays defense.

Curry and Crawford would come off the dam bench.

James
Randolph
Artest
Jeffries
Bibby

Bench: (where they belong)
Curry
Crawford
Jones

I think Curry and Crawford could be effective against the second unit's of opposing teams.

Plus thats a nice 8 man rotation

Jerome James? Starting? You're joking right?

I can't take any proposal serious that has JFat as a starter.

James plays better D than Curry. He wouldn't get touches anyway. All we need is a big body.

Are you Crazy?Crawford isn't coming off anybodys bench. He's lookin like our franchise player,He can play PG or SG and averaging 20ppg,5apg 42% shooting. If we were winning he would be in The All-star talks..Theres guys averaging 18ppg and people are calling them all-stars cause of there winning record

If we get the 8th seed we are going deep in the playoffs.

I look at our young core of decent players and we got Lee and Robinson.

Sean Williams >> Lee
Marcus Williams < Robinson

says who?

the celtics would still beat us

we have to stop shooting for jsut the playoffs and try to win a title one day and the only way to do it is destroy and rebuild this

the east is awful, makign a run at the 7th or 8th seed in the east still means you are far far far away from being a contender..

Send these fools to the bench so we can have scoring off the bench.

If you give guys the opportunity to win it all people will sacrifice. No one is going to sacrifice their game on a team going nowhere.

We can overtake Atlanta and Indiana for the 7th and 8th spot.

New Jersey, Chicago, Charlotte, and Milwaukee are going NOWHERE

The East is atrocious for a second year. I rather play Boston or Detroit in the first round because if we get past them Orlando will get run over like a freight train.

Sending Garnett home in the first round again would make my day.

Its so embarassing the Nets would be in the playoffs right now. I am sorry but you dont lose 3 games to this Knicks team in 1 year. Thats inexcusable.

Lee and Robinson are not taking us to the conference finals.

Regular season means squat come playoff time

Cleveland went to the NBA finals :nonono:
Golden state eliminated Dallas in the first round :noway:

Boston only has Garnett, Pierce, and Redd the rest of their team is TRASH

We'd theoretically have Curry, Randolph, Artest, Crawford, and Bibby I think we could beat them.

we have a real die hard homer here if he thinks a lineup that still has Curry in the rotation can beat the Celtics.

who is going to guard KG...ron artest?

the nba is the most predictable palyoff, series like dallas and golden state dont happen every eyar

and the team that supposed to win the title usually wins it 99 times out of 100

u make it seem like the playoffs are wide open and if we made the 8th seed we could possibly win a title

Yea KG is the type of player to drop 40 points.

You are not going to shut KG down. However if you shut down Pierce and Allen which is definitely doable they are going to lose.

Do teams try to stop Kobe or do they try to shut down the other 4 players on the court

I meant Allen

Upsets happen every year. Boston and Detroit aren't locks for the championship. Boston is still an injury away from being average.

And we went to 2OT with the Kings................

Granted they didnt have Bibby but I dont think hes the difference between a 30 plus point blowout and a 2OT close game.

Exactly and the Nets are supposed to be "SUPERIOR" since they have Kidd, Jefferson, and Collins.

Nothing is guaranteed.
