THE CLIPPERS ARE DOGGING US

Post#1 » by king_k4life » Wed Jan 23, 2008 6:24 pm

They have some Nerve

Clippers' owner Donald Sterling allegedly refused to approve the trade.

"I would only make deals to help our future -- anything else is suicide," said Dunleavy. "Anything else and you become the New York Knicks . Now if you want to do that and take on big contracts and long-term deals to potentially hit a home run or get some kind of turnaround, that's not the direction I would go as a businessman or if I owned the team.

The Knicks are a model of bad management. I see nothing wrong with what he said.

I wish more people said stuff like this. The Knicks are the worst run team in professional sports today. FACT

wow, of all people. Sterling is the ABSOLUTE LAST person to talk about a franchise being a joke. For what seemed like as long as I was alive, the clips NEVER spent money to keep any of their free agent. Drafting young stud after young stud; satisfied with losing since sharing the stapels center guaranteed them a fanbase.

They were like a farm team for the rest of the league. Developing rooks so they can leave in free agency and become stars. To be honest, the year they had a winning record, Sterling probably was shocked.

it takes a lot for coaches and other execs to take shots at you publicly. So you know it is bad now. Stern, Dunleavy, TNT, ESPN... hey dolan does not seem to get it, so until then, this team will get torn apart in the media..

It's the truth, and anybody who denies it is wrong.

This is coming from the same Clippers who have had 3 winning seasons in the last 30 years? Ouch.

Quick, let's trade for Dunleavy Jr just so he'd eat his words. I wouldn't be surprised if Isiah did that.

Hey, this is the worst team that money could buy. Everybody knows it. It's one thing to lose, but it's quite another thing to lose while spending a fortune.
