first of all - is there anybody on this board who was high on Lee during his 1st year - which is when this trade was talked about.
are we at the point that we're digging up dirt on Isiah for trades that didn't take place? if anybody looks bad - it's Portland for not pulling the trigger.
here we've one 4 of our last 6 and folks are concerned with non-trades from 3 years ago. gimme a break.

hahahahaha imagine how much worse the Curry deal would have been if we had Lee in it.
omg Isiah would have been stoned by those fans with their suburban entitlement.
seriously, Isiah's claim to fame when he gets fired is going to be, "hey i didn't trade David Lee." Therefore, when we finally make the playoffs and Lee is one of the main reasons, he will come out and take credit for it. Then he will find the nearest 6 foot tall transexual and sexually harass her.

This is why I don't buy this rumor. If he was willing to trade picks instead of sending Lee for Curry, why would he be willing to send a pick and Lee for Miles and Ratliff??? It doesn't add up based on his actions.
Because it was what would most likely be the late first round pick which Isiah acquired when he traded for all star Malik Rose.
