you guys hijacked my thread

THIS IS ABOUT the ultimate big man. A man who if he got his minutes would be a top 10 center in the league (by default). a man who swats shots like he is the second coming of Mutumbo.

This man is our future, he is our workhorse to the playoffs.

this man dominated the one playoff series he has ever been in.

This man is Jerome James.

JJ is exactly what this team needs right now. People may laugh when I say this because JJ's usually the brunt of all the "useless player jokes" out there.

But the Knicks need defensive intimidation in the middle and our current cast of characters can't deliver it. Zach is a more complete player than Curry and is a true PF, so he stays. Curry is the odd man out and we can live w/o his offense.

I say Jerome James over Curry( the potential all star/ franchise player) and I'm not embarrassed to say it.

Jerome James cant stay 6 minutes on the floor without almost fainting. Remember last year when he scored like 6 or 8 points in a row, and called for a sub,

Even if we started James, Curry would see most of the minutes because James simply cant play more than 10 minutes a game. My choice is Randolph Morris. He is a more active body on the floor, he is in better shape, he is not the best shotblocker but a better one than Curry. He also has a midrange shot and he has a postup game with a fadeaway jumper. I would start Randolph Morris if I was really trying to win some games.

Jerome James can't play more than 10 minutes without getting winded. If he did play more he's just get injured again.

The problem with this team has been Isiah's inconsistencies. Don't forget the Knicks were 2-3 before the whole Marbury debacle (their 3rd loss came with Randolph out). There really isn't much reason to not believe that they could have been at least close if not better than a 500 team, without all the drama.

Jereome James is suppose to be a defensive intimidator, can't you read ?

Your boy Curry was suppose to be the next coming of Jesus, but all we got was Mary.

Isiah has limited Curry to like 25 mpg lately. I know James can't go long cause he's out of shape, but his 10 mpg reduces Curry's mpg by 10. Keep reducing Curry's minutes until JJ's stamina increases.

I don't see Isiah playing Morris over JJ because of the money he's paying JJ, but I have no problem giving Morris, Curry's minutes also.

I think Jerome James has a better chance of making the all star team than Curry does given the same minutes one day.

Remember all stars may not be great defensive players, but they all have one thing Curry doesn't have ..... IQ

Nobody's saying Jerome James is the "answer" at center. The point is that he compliments our team's need on the defensive end. Alot of you guys make me laugh with your perceptions of Eddy Curry. You guyz still think he's got all star written all over him when he reaches his potential. Well I think it's time to start opening your eyes and realize that his potential has come and gone. The guy's a lazy loser playing for a paycheck. He's had one real good overall game this season and that was against the Spurs. That my friends is pretty sad.

Keep on making all the excuses you want about Curry's failure as a basketball player because one day your going to wake up and they'll be no one listening to you anymore. JJ getting Curry minutes is not laughable when you take into consideration what each guy brings to the table for the team and it's needs.

Sure, promoting JJ over Curry sounds ridiculous on paper, but the reality is that it would make the Knicks a better team. And that's what I want ..... the Knicks to be a better team.

There is no doubt in my mind if JJ is healthy and eventually gets Curry type minutes his production will be more meaningful for the Knicks than what Curry brings to the table. Instead of laughing at someone that brings up a point, why don't you explain why JJ over Curry is so laughable. I know why ..... because you can't. Get over it .... Curry sucks.
