From what I hear from students of both, it's not nearly as bad as law school.

Which med school do you attend? I hear WUSTL has a good one.

Get someone else's lecture notes, bother the teacher and make endless phone calls to him. Nit-pick about every little detail, also flash cards are your best friends when exams come along.

Well my med school was kind of lower down on the chain of the US schools, so they have decided to torture the students so in 10 years they will look better.

Law school might be worse, I wouldnt know. But in some law schools it is one really bad year and thats it.

You need to set better goals in life. Your butt needs to drop out and become a volunteer prostitute.

I think the issue is we have a test every 2 weeks. Flash cards work, if I have time to actually write them.

I don't have much of a social life either. Keep hitting those books. What field are you going into?

Maybe you should just wait until you get your M.D.- then you'll be killing people all the time, mostly by accident.

Maybe I should be a psychiatrist and make people kill themselves, and make it very hard for people to believe that it was me.

I hear that, just don't choose plastics, cardiothoracic is a good choice if you can handle it but it doesn't pay so well as others.

Nah, that wouldn't be right. Killing by accident isn't as bad for your karma.

Hopefully you don't give the same career advice to your students.
