Trade Proposal: Kyle Lowry for Randolph Morris?

Post#1 » by wwtsm » Sat Feb 2, 2008 3:58 am

Now that the Grizzlies have Crittenden and Conley at the point, Lowry seems like the odd man out more than ever. If we could get him for Morris or even Collins I think it would be a steal. He played really well at points last season and I think he would fit perfectly here. Thoughts?

I doubt Lowry is the odd man out. I would love to have him though. I would trade anyone on our roster for Lowry (maybe not Lee). I'm not trading any picks or taking Brian Cardinal back though.

Sounds like a reasonable trade. I would be willing to add a future second rounder if they want to take Collins instead.

Are they going to play Critt at the 2? How are they going to find PT for all their PGs?

I would offer Balkman.

I don't think they'd do it for Morris.

Maybe for Balkman. And that might be worth considering, IF we think Chandler is going to pan out. We still need our point guard of the future and Lowry is capable IMO.

I'm pretty sure they can do better for Lowry. And if they do unload him, they'd probably want to get rid of cardinal too.

True.
We could do Malik and Collins for Cardinal plus Lowry.

(If we're taking on the extra yr of Cardinal's salary I would take Balkman off the table.)

I said that on the Gasol thread. I think it is a very fair deal, I would be willing to include a second rounder or $3 million cash.
