am i the only one who think lil wayne is trash and raps about the same ish over and over and that his music has no substance. And soulja boy is trash people know him more for his dance then his singing. To me snoop has lost all credibility from me. He has turned himself into a joke who everyone sees as a guy who gets high all day (king k in 10 years). He used to be gangster now no one is afraid of him even white suburben kids. Kanye is by far num 1 right now in the game and jayz should be num 2. I still think andre 3000 should be off the list.

my argument is what did 50 do lately, Sensual Seduction was almost r and b and he didnt even right his own **** rick ross had the song the boss an thats it jeezy was on almost every remix but didnt o great on his own andre 3000 did nothing and neither did t.i.
Lupe is 4 bc hes my favorite and hip hop saved my life, Paris Tokyo and superstar all great hits
Jay-Z is 3 bc of his concert and album and his boss statcher
Kanye is almost a pop star but he had some real lyrical stuff that not many have anymore Wayne is one bc of his beats and his album coming out

If your doing just the past year any list needs to include Crooked I, WordSmith, EMC, Lupe, Sha Stimuli, Lox and there is so many more. Essentially if your listening to the radio your getting nothing good really.
However MTV takes into account fans, swagger, CD sales and all that so any list is meaningless. Rick Ross? Snoop? T.I? Jeezy? 50?
Cmon now...
