OT: Carmelo's Agent: Melo Not Headed For Detroit

WELL GRAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at the Pistons for now seeking Carmelo Anthony when they notice that the window of opportunity is now ajar paper-thin with a lugubrious future now staring right at them! Rasheed Wallace himself said that "It's over" when they recently got ousted.

Even back at 2003, I seriously wondered why these people snubbed Carmelo Anthony and took freaking Darko Milicic instead, and no this is NOT hindsight.

Instead of Carmelo Anthony, all they have to show for their 2nd pick in 2003 is Rodney Stuckey, lol grrrrrahahahaha and now they now it and desire to have Carmelo Anthony. Hey Pistons, wrong time, LOL.

Do you think that the Pistons would have won in 2004 if they had rookie Carmelo on that team? It would have meant less shots for the current Pistons core and they may have had to assuage Carmelo's ego maybe for the detriment to the team's chemistry.

OP starts off saying that pistons messed up not taking melo, and finishes by saying if they had taken melo they might not have won the campionship in 04.

They won the championship in 2004 and last time I checked Melo didn't lead the Nuggets to greatness !

To be more specific I don't think they should have drafted Melo.
I think they should have traded down and drafted Chris Bosh.

Considering Lebron and Melo were the two most coveted players in that draft class, some teams would have been ready to give a lot of value to move up in the top 2.
