Gallinari, What postion will he play?

Post#1 » by Balkman32 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 12:45 pm

I really hope he is a PF, assuming the Knicks will be in the running for Melo, LBJ, and DWade. Since, we drafted Balkman and Chandler last year as well.

Probably SF so he can sit there and shoot all day.

pf... Donnie said so read the post today. he'll be 6'11 wth guard skills and a shooter who has no problem being physical playing inside he'll be developed as a pf, Chandler is our sf for the future, Danilo is our pf for the future.

I see him playing a game similar to Dirk. Give him help defending PF in the paint, and performing, primarily as a wing on offense, with the ability to post up as well.

He has to play the small forward. When the team wants to run and gun he will play some pf. If he does play some sf it will be a challenge for him because in the NBA the sf are faster and can play defense.

Im glad Walsh is living in this reality.

Gallinari at SF is just begging guys like Dunleavy to drop 50 on us.

Gallinari at PF is the logical position if he is to small let him learn.

I actually see Chandler playing ALOT of two guard this season with Jamal and Stephon handling the point. Chandler is very very athletic and can play serious defense.

he is going to bulk up and get bigger. He will be a good size for Pf eventually.
