Joe Alexander

Post#1 » by workforce3 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 2:12 pm

I'm really wondering if now that we drafted a small forward we will someday regret the day we didn't select Joe Alexander. Alexander is much more athletic and stronger will the tools to someday be a tough defender and running.

Danilo is younger and better offensively so I guess we will just have to look back and see one day.

It certainly will be interesting to compare the progress they each make over the next few seasons. The Euro league is supposed to be better than the NCAA. The other question is, what about Chandler and how do the Gallinari pick effect his status on the team.

I am surprised Milwaukee still went for Alexander after trading for RJ. Where do they see him fitting?

I think that D'Antoni will use Danilo and Chandler in that Chandler can guard the big two guards in the league. So: A mix that the Knicks can used once in awhile will be:

Marbury
Chandler
Danilo
Randolph
Curry

or

Crawford
Chandler
Danilo
Lee
Curry

Either way I think the odd man out in this is Balkman.
