OT: Song suggestions for a mix CD

I'm trying to make a CD with one song from every year since 1990. Starting at 2008 and going backward. Any suggestions for music? Trying to keep it hip hop and have songs that everyone would recognize. If you don't know years just help me with some old school songs because I can't think of stand out songs for each specific year myself.

Good picks for all five. With Tribe I could make a whole CD for them alone. Same with Wu-tang though most of it would be 36 chambers anyway.
