anyway - here's the article. it's interesting to me how Athleticaly Gifted Curry is. Doesn't always translate into NBA skills, but he's a freak of nature.

He's an insane athlete, the problem is that he's not really dedicated to basketball and that's the reason I think we should move him before ZBo. Because Zach loves basketball and plays throughout the year. Zach doesn't pass and his D sucks, but he wants to be good and wants to succeed, meaning I could definately see him starting to pass more either with a great coach or an a playoff caliber vet team.

No wonder Eddy Curry's always lazy,

As far as a vid, all I had prior to this article was a bulls poster who said Eddy could do a standing backflip, this article confirmed that, so I figured it was worth a thread.


though, it has since occured to me, I read about a guy who was trying out for the NFL as a lineman, he was like 330 lbs maybe more, and he was a borderline draftee trying to make it on his size and athleticism, cause his college record didn't merit a pick. He could do a standing backflip. Said so in a NYTimes article. Sorry, I can't dig up the article, I don't remember his name and it was a couple years ago.

So, there are probably a handful of 300 pounders who can do that kind of athletic stuff, eddy's one of em.

Make fun of Eddy's game or his lack of passion all you want, you can even call him fat (though he's really not THAT fat, he just has a big frame). But fact is, he's an athletic freak. No question.

eddy was all state in gymnastics and is apparently the only person to accomplish being all state in basketball and gymnastics at the same time.

he is a freak athlete.

Maybe Dantoni can work some Magic with him. I think curry's custom made for the 7 second or less offense. Curry was a pretty good player 2 years ago.
