OT: Is anyone here NOT from NYC?

Just wondering.. It seems outside of NYC there are no Knicks fans in NY.. I'm upstate right now around Binghamton (lived in the city for most my years and came up here to do research) and I can't find anyone hardcore like me about the team since last I've been in NY. Most the people I talk to about the Knicks are my friends and family from the city. Where are you guys from and are there other big time Knicks fans there?

well i used to live in dominican republic, moved back to the city about 2.5 months ago and me and one of my friends over there were knicks fans, the rest of em liked the lakers

Yeah its amazing how many Knicks fans there are on the internet when I look around where I live.. Are they all hiding or embarrassed or something?

Most of them are hidden fans. They won't come out until they are actually good...

I live in buffalo now, but i've been a knicks fan since I started watching basketball, we're first generation immigrants and those 90's knicks played basketball like we germans/russians play soccer/hockey. Same reason I'm a giants fan.

well its hard to find die hard knick fans right now because wever been bad for so long but soon there will be more hopefully. I live in Woodstock and there were alot of Knick fans back when we were good, now they are hiding and will be back when we are good. I dont know anyone around here that is as diehard as me though.

At least you know some. I have to come on an internet message board to find people with the same passion for this team that I have. I barely know any knicks fans where I live.

i've been a life long die hard. born in 86. the 1999 finals do NOT count. i don't care what you wanna say. it was fun, but it was bull....

Born and raised in Las Vegas..... and ALWAYS been a Knick fan. I loved Ewing, and then when we got LJ (Las Vegas HERO) that sealed the deal...

I'm originally from Brooklyn but currently live in Delaware. My friends either laugh at me or feel sorry for me for being a Knicks fan but I don't care. I just don't want to see them all of a sudden become one when we start to matter...

NJ about 30min away from the city. went to school there and work there now. plan on moving there soon in order to remove from my life the biggest failure in public transportation: nj transit.

we've got fans all over... i'm pretty sure we also have a bunch of knick fans on this board who are from europe.
