I'm from Melbourne, Australia born and raised. I don't usually post on here, I just come to this board to read about the news of the Knicks (like now I'm reading up about Douby). Usually I post on the Media Lounge board.

Patrick Ewing got me into basketball so obviously the Knicks are my team.

...been reading this forum for the last 3-4 years but never posted...anyway born in Melb, Aus but lived in nyc and it really made me appreciate sports and how the city loves sports...Always been a knick fan and...as much as the knicks haven't been good the last few years its made me even more of a fan if thats possible because it easy to be on the top and stay there but i just find it rewarding fighting your way from the bottom and eventually we will be on top again. :rock:

I'm a 33 year old Knick fan living in Minneapolis on Ewing Ave.

I was actually born & raised in a small town in South Dakota. I've been a Knick fan for 20 years. Originally, I followed the Lakers until my idol Kareem Abdul-Jabbar retired. (I was the kid practicing his "sky hook" in the driveway wearing swim goggles. lol. True story.) At a early age my dad brainwashed me into becoming a Yankess fan. So at the time I was already all about NY. It only seemed natural to gravitate towards another #33 with an impressive hook shot playing the same position.

There are hardcore Knicks fans everywhere... just harder to find.
