He says he is starting to believe he can be one of the best power forwards in the league but he has a lot more work to do before he gets there but the coaches keep telling him that the sky is the limit.

Ya know, I can definitely see Dave as a GM or coach one day. Leaning towards GM. Just the way he does an interview....he sounds like an executive or something. He's so damn knowledgeable about every aspect of the game....so intelligent. This guy is a keeper.

It's funny you say that because he is slowly molding himself into a Debusherre type (who was another undersized Forward of his era).

The sky really is the limit for this guy as he's improved at least one aspect of his game EVERY Season.

Year 1-2: Free Throw Shooting.

Year 2-3: Rebounding effeciency and Foul effeciency. Passing game.

Year 3-4: Mid-Range game and power offense game.

Year 4-5: ??? Who knows, perhaps an even more expanded offensive game. 3-PT Range perhaps?

Walsh is right, and saw it right away (along with Coach D'), that if you pair him with another big-man who complements his ONE weakness (shotblocking), then you've got one of the best young frontcourts in the NBA (Chandler, Gallo, Lee, and a Shotblocking Center like Thabeet).

What did he say? I remember last year I was down on him, but he's becoming a pretty good player. He says what's on his mind, but makes sure he says in a way that it won't cause friction in the lockerroom. To bad we have to trade him because he's a "product of the system"

I felt the need to bump this after hearing the podcast.

It's really entertaining to hear Lee talk. The guy is so well spoken. He says all the right things and he's figured out the art of dodging certain questions.

Yeah, he is an awesome PR/Media guy. Someone said it (might've been Breen or Clyde), but he'd make an excellent GM one day.

That's why Colangelo is looking at him for the next Olympics (2012), because not only is he young and talented, but he's also VERY marketable and has a clean slate.
