I’m sorry, the 2023 NBA Champions isn’t an option.

And yes, to everything else.

The absolute highest team option in this poll is making the play in.

My vote is to lock this thread and not discuss low expectations anymore. I fully expect to be the surprise of the league next year. Do you believe in magic?

Success is defined by winning. I voted "play-in seed". It is the highest, realistic goal for the Magic. The "10+-win improvement" goal fits that narrative.

Frankly will disappointed if Orlando's has less than 30 wins to finish the season. A 40 win season feels like a next-year goal. But; one can dream.

To get to playin you will probably need 46 wins.
That ain't happening.

Success is when our young core is good. If our young core is good we should win more than last season.
Memphis won 34 after drafting Morant.
Hornets won 33 after drafting Ball.
10+ improvement should be the expectection, if we dont win 32-33 game's i will be worried.
Ceiling good be what Cleveland did last year even with injuries.

Garland 22, Okoro 21, Markkanen 24, Mobley 20, Allen 23 = average 22 years
vs
Fultz 24, Harris 28, Wagner 21, Banchero 19, Carter 23= average 23 years

Cleveland won 44 games last season with many injuries. I think we could be better.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

The top 10 rotational players are healthy for 70+ games.

Just being healthy for one season would answer a lot of questions.

Too much overlap in the options...we are not just getting Paolo & Houstan, we are (hopefully) adding a defensive savant in Isaac, a full year of Fultz, a more seasoned Mosley, Cole, Suggs, & Franz. Most importantly, I hope we're fielding a team whose job is not to try to lose...This team could improve by 20 games and get to a play-in slot very realistically. IF Franz is an All-Star and Paolo is ROY and somebody else can hit 3's...a legit playoff slot is not out of the question. Injuries could determine if we are slightly improved or one of the deepest teams in the East.
