Paolo Banchero Officially Signs with Jordan Brand

Post#1 » by Knightro » Mon Oct 17, 2022 6:23 pm

Read on Twitter

This was rumored way back in July, but finally official today.

If he ends up having a really good start to his career, he might have a signature shoe before the end of his rookie contract.

Been a minute since the Magic had some positive buzz around them. I don't know if this team is going to be good, but it will at the very least be interesting. Which is more than you can say about the last 10 years of Orlando Magic teams.

It's still weird to me to see news like this about a Magic player, certainly been a while! Fingers crossed he plays his way into a signature shoe

I don't know what's your experience with new Jordan models of basketball shoes but mine are not positive.

I bought Jordan max aura 4 and they are too heavy to play sports in.
I have Jordan Jumpman pros and they also , to my taste, were too heavy.

I bought some random adidas basketball shoes on supersale and they were ( still are) way more comfortable, lighter, and yet stability was identical.
Donovan Mitchlel adidas shoes to me, right now are best bang for a buck.

This isn't new, i had negative experience with nike shoes last couple of years. They look great but quality is questionable, price is over a moon and weight of shoe itself is probably too great for basketball activities. Compared to Adidas, that looks worst ( no question about it ) but who are actually way more comfortable & lighter. and in Jordan brand in general, shoes are soooo damn stiff & heavy for no good reason since they aren't that durable at all.

Man i miss Iverson Reebook shoes

In terms of playing, I agree hundred percent, went with Nikes for the looks for a while, ended up playing in Adidas. So comfortable for my aging knees, perform great, no wear and tear and the hardens looked gorgeous. My goto shoe brand for active stuff now, but still buy Jordan's/ Nikes for daytime / fashion wear.
