I remember reading somewhere that Mo Wagner could miss the season with his foot injury. Is there any update on him?

Last update is that he had progressed to working out on the court. That was six days ago, last Wednesday.

So he's not wheelchair bound if nothing else

I'm still on a minute restriction when watching the games.

50% of active forum from first game is on their DNP-waste-of-season mode. This year earlier than ever in last 11 years.

I really feel like I've taken crazy pills with everyone's opinions on how we're tanking this entire season with 10 guys out this early. It just doesn't make sense in any sort of way.

If we are, I wouldn't even want us to get the first pick. It's shameless and stupid.

I think the most common and realistic thing is that people are injured and it sucks. Guys will miss random games, sure, but not holding them out for months and months.

Professional athletes also have a lot of pride. If they can play, they will want to play. They're not in the business to just not play games for a CHANCE at a top pick, who may take their spot on the team in the future, or for their names to be in trade talks near the deadline.

Spicy take, but I think Isaac and Fultz would be playing right now if the FO had the belief that making the playoffs this season was critically important.

I don’t think we would be seeing the timeframes for some of these injuries be double or triple what they would normally be for other guys. There are minor decisions they can make to stealth tank. The players and Mosely won’t do it actively. I think that’s what we are seeing.

Again, I’m not mad at it. I’ve watched enough basketball in my life to be able to appreciate stretches of a game, without needing a W every night, in order to see substantial progress.
yeah being a magic fan made you enjoy a losing team lmao

Who said I "enjoy losing"?

I'm just not delusional enough to think this injured roster is making the playoffs.

Maybe in a few years when Paolo is an allstar I'll start truly caring about the W column mattering in the grand scheme of things. Until then, I'll be scrutinizing the front offices decisions when they make bad moves.
