Thankfully this ownership group and front office considers character first.

Kyrie Irving is NOT the type of player the Magic are interested in.
Ryan Anderson = Pat Garrity 10.0

The Magic would sign him if he wants to come here.

Over the summer, I was trolling him on Instagram live with Orlando, and I could see the wheels spinning in his head. He was probably shocked because 90% of his IG viewers were haters.

If we signed Kyrie, it would mean we were going to try and contend next season.

As talented as Irving is, he’s nothing but a destructive force for any team he’s been on. Every bit of progress the Magic have made this season ( which is substantial) would be undone by bringing in Kyrie. This young squad needs a leader, and Kyrie is nothing but a taker, and a lunatic.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

You sign the dude and tell him he is just here to hoop

He is not a leader
We don’t expect championships

Just hoop and let someone else lead

Obviously, if they go into the summer and he wants to sign here, we will sign him.
