Magic win! Like the last Charlotte game, The Magic clearly had their number and outmatched them.

Most of all, Franz Wagner only has a sprain which we thought might be much worse.

I love that he said he stepped up seeing one of our best players go down. We are building an identity.

Part of his improvement this year has been not dribbling the air out of the ball but he still falls back to it from time to time. He's not a PG. He's a SG that can run a few plays.

Yeah. He’s been better this year. But you’d expect someone like him, who dribbles the ball a lot, be at least able to control the tempo of the game lol

I want to stay 5th worst as much as anyone, but there's no complaining allowed when your rook goes for 31-6-5-1-1 and shoots 50%.

Cole and Jalen's pressers are awesome. The way they encourage each other is pretty cool especially since they play the same position. I noticed that Cole/Suggs and Wendell/Markelle seem to be really close on the team.

To my eyes, he is holding his hamstring as the pain that resulted from the ankle rolling.

Paolo's 3 point shot is back, a nice sign. Great game from him overall. Suggs was solid and gave the team the energy it needed. Cole had some nice moments. Harris forced a few shots he usually doesn't take and they went in a pretty spectacular way, very solid game defensively from him which made up for his subpar shooting from 3.

Charlotte are really terrible without LaMelo, but we still took care of business away from home with Franz out, so no complaints.

I hope Franz won't miss much time, but I am also curious how would the team look without him for a stretch, he's only missed one game until now, and that was against OKC who were on the second night of a home and away back and back while we had a 4 game rest, so that game didn't tell us much.

Painful but those "inside" rotations of ankle are way less harmful than outside twists. He'll be fine in a few days with lot of ice.

It's a shame since Franz is closest thing we had since Dwight in terms of durability ( and quality probably too).

Sorry about Franz...Here is Houstan's chance to show what he's got (or Okeke, sadly, to show if he's got anything). I really like his chances of contributing given more "sink or swim" time. One more versatile, good-sized, 3&D wing would be a great find.

I'm a little envious of BRK's rebuild. All those big wings who shoot and/or defend at an elite level...we're not far really that far off if one of our overshadowed players (like Houstan or Okeke) rises to DFS-level of 3&D, but it's a beautiful thing. I don't hate Dinwiddie at PG either...he's big, he's smart, and he's capable of big scoring nights when needed. I think he is better back out of Luka's formidable shadow. WCJ might be a better overall player than Claxton, but Clax brings elite defensive presence at the 5, which is pretty key to winning (I had hopes for Isaac bringing doses of this off the bench, but bets are now off on JI). Then there's Simmons, who could be/should be their best player-the kind of guy who can dominate a game without scoring 5 pts. Sad if he doesn't get close to his previous levels again. Easy to forget how impactful he was....

If only the Magic had a top 5 player and a top 15 player to trade away to kickstart their rebuild
