Now I have a team to root for in the west. It would be cool for cp3 to have a ring along with TRoss...

I always wanted to know what Ross could do with floor spreaders like Durant and Booker.

Ross shot 17 times in 25 minutes in his Phoenix debut, I think he will be very happy there.

That's a solid game 1 from him. Don't care if he fouled out.

Lakers 1 - 0 since Bamba joined the team. Here is hoping he blossoms.

Eye test showed it too when I watched the game. This might be the kick in the rear he needed. We shall see.

Bamba had several games last year where he fouled out in 15 min.

Let's be honest, if he doesn't work for Lakers,LAL fans and media will grill him alive.

Very un-Bamba-like motor game until you realize he let Willy Hernangomez grab 14pts and 11rebs in 16 minutes.

Exactly. And he shot 2-7 overall and 0-5 from 3. Wait til he has a game where he’s on fire from 3 and puts up 15-20 points in 15-20 minutes - Lakers fans will lose their ish.

SOUL wrote:Didn't see a thread for either pop up and both were here quite a while.. and I know way worse players with shorter time served here have gotten some. Try not to be dicks if you don't have anything nice to say lol, there's plenty of other threads for that. 8-)

I think regardless of expectations, Bamba was a great locker room guy and everybody seemed to enjoy being around him and he never really caused problems (besides fighting Austin on the way out ) Had games where he looked exactly what we needed with shooting and defense but those were way too few and far between. I know people had high hopes which is what made people more angry with him, but after looking back in the last 10 drafts.. you realize how many players actually materialize into who you think they should be. I think in a limited role he can be quite useful in LA.

Ross was a real solid dude as well and has a great podcast that people should check out. He was always talking great stuff about Paolo/Franz and hyping Isaac's return too. Brought some great memories after the initial disaster of an Ibaka trade and always felt like a guy that all the young guys could easily talk to and get along with. The torch can still get lit at times even if it's not as often as we'd liked. When he was lit though.. maybe one of the most fun things to watch in recent times. Hope he finds a nice landing spot!

Ciao!

I appreciate TROSS but will never appreciate Mo Bamba- huge let down.. he was very lazy and was an empty space on the court

Ross is looking good for the Suns.

I am one of the few here who liked him playing SG here more than Harris.

The bad thing for him is that I think the Suns are going to waive Paul and use all their cap space to sign Kyrie. So Ross may not get a good contract from them.
