I like Brown, but the Celtics are a tough trade partner because they're obviously not going to blow it up under any circumstances as a title contender.

So they would need significant talent in return. Not draft picks.

Generally agree, but what if things go wrong and they lose in the 1st round and chemistry issues surface? Are they willing to commit to 2 super max contracts with potential chemistry issues? Utah was an up and coming young team seen as a contender until it all came crashing down spectacularly. The goal is for the Magic to be there ready to pounce the next time this happens like Cleveland was with Utah.

I agree 100% with this theory in general, but I don't think it will be BOS that blows up. Brown/Tatum dynamic is so good...he'd have to REALLY hate Boston to blow it up.
