We need shooting and guard who can run pick and roll while not being liability on defense.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

We absolutely need that P&R guard but not sure who that is. Tre Jones fits that bill and is a FA but is an abysmal 3pt shooter that makes Fultz look like Steph Curry. That's why I'm still open to DRussell... but then his defense and baggage...

It depends how much all in we want to go. Lets say our starting group is */Harris/Wagner/Banchero/Carter.
Thats */29/22/21/24. Propably year too early to commit big assets for superstar veteran in their 30s. This offseason is very tricky. We have potential stars on rookie contracts, but also its propably too early for all in move. In my opinion best possible move is luring/overpaying free agent, keeping assets and than striking depending on team performance. Thats why i am so eager to get FVV, its not only about FVV but also about preserving assets until its right time to strike.

1. Our most important need is shooting, hands down. Specifically from our guards. We need to see how much better our players, most specifically Paolo & Franz play with modern NBA spacing. The only way to properly evaluate their games.

2. Outside of that, we need a back up big, especially since WCJ plays like 60 games a season and we do alot worse when he's out.

3. A wing defender, that's athletic would be nice as well coming off the bench.

We can help shooting by getting FVV & with our draft picks (Keyonte, Nick Smith, Dick)

The backup big question is the hardest to solve by next season, I don't see alot of good backup bigs in this FA class nor in the draft where we're slotted.

A wing defender, we could get one of the Thompson twins

Depth Chart:

PG: FVV, Cole
SG: Suggs, Harris/Keyonte
SF: Franz, Houstan/Thompson
PF: Paolo, Bol Bol
C: WCJ, Goga

This is a team that will end up with a top 6 seeding in the East and should be a top 10 defense in the league.

Team needs to throw everything and kitchen sink at Mavericks for Luka. Ideally we get to keep both Franz and Paolo, giving any number of 1st round picks needed.
