He'd be a helluva get. You could manage his load and play him across 2-4 so he's not constantly chasing faster guys out on the perimeter. He'd probably attract a good PG like Fred and then you really have a veteran presence that can accelerate the development of the younger guys for a couple of seasons.
But George has a player option in 2024, which he'll definitely turn down for a last deal with someone good. We won't be able to afford him, as in 2025 our wage bill will skyrocket.
So as great as I think it'd be for outer guys to have a couple odlf seasons with guys of that calibre, I don't think we'd get more than a year of PG13.
