Robinson to Duncan to Wemby. It all makes sense.

Glad he's out West. If we really want someone not named Wemby we can package 6 and 11 and move up.

Freaking Spurs only ever have to tank one year to get a #1 pick.

Simons really is squeezed out no matter who they draft outaide of Vic.

They have a future potential star in the wing with Sharpe. Drafting Scoot or Miller would relegate Simons to the bench.

Ooo I like that. He's a perfect fit next to Fultz/Franz/Paolo/WCJ.

This will probably make Pops stick around another year in S.A.
I could turn into a Spurs fan in year #2 of the Wemby years (I'm an hour+ away).

Glad we got the Bulls pick, at least.

Someone says this after every draft and then in every draft it's "I can't believe we picked x at x position and didn't draft the 5-6 players we should've drafted that went after him".

So, then, you would gladly trade down? For free?

Depends on the deal. It's just that the statement is incorrect lol.

People say this all the time and every year there are multiple high level starters/all-stars or better from 6-19. The only difference is that they aren't as sure-fire as the potential of the top 2-3, but they're around, and scouting is much more important. I just take the claims of "talent ends before (insert Magic pick) after being here 15+ years with a grain of salt.

Just because we generally leave better players on the board does not mean it’s not a heck of a lot better than picking later. Let’s hope they get the right 2 guys.
