Man, I really hope these Thompson twins hit so that the OTE gets some legitimacy, my gut says it isn't that bad of a pipeline.

Are you serious?
The LNB Pro A league is a professional grown men league!!!

really i am.

Whitmore would be a jackpot,Ausar is intriguing, both Hndricks and Walker could be perfect to alternate with Banchero-wcj and with enough potential to justify the pick.

to me is really harder to find someone useful of those ones projected at #11,just keyonte george deserves a swing, trying to make a steal in the long run.

Take Dick at 6, and just pick a high upside project at 11.

We need shooting help that can come right in now and create space.

I just dont see the Mavs passing on him and I feel like were past the point of drafting for upside (PROJECTS), as we are likely trying to make the playoffs next year,

Not that Dick's upside is low, is shot is unreal (release/timing/accuracy) and his height and underrated athleticism make him worth the pick.

I am not a fan of hoping some of these other picks turn into a sharp shooter, that is all we need is more clogging up the paint .

Dick just worked out for OKC #12 and Dallas #10. I'm not sure if he's worked out for a team that hight.

Gradey Dick reminds me of Kevin Huerter. Their measurements are nearly identical.

Huerter: 6' 6 1/4'' barefoot, 8' 5 1/2'' standing reach, 194 lbs, 6' 7 1/2'' wingspan
Dick: 6' 6 1/4'' barefoot, 8' 5'' standing reach, 204 lbs, 6' 8 3/4'' wingspan

Good prospect, but not a guy I'd pick at 6 with the other options that will be available. I'd consider him at 11 though.

Someone is going to fall to 11 that was projected in the 5-9 range, happens every year, id probably scoop them up then pass on the best shooter in this class, hoping he falls past other teams that need spacing.

And-1

Only if the Magic take Hendricks with the view to take Jordan Hawkins at 11 would I not take Dick at 6.

Heck: I would be ok with Dick at 6 AND Hendricks at 11.

It is my strong opinion that Orlando needs more shooters more than it needs any other thing.

Good possible the Magic go with Black at 6 and Dick at 11.

Would love Huerter on this team, exactly what we need.

If this was any other draft, id go for black. But we have 3 point guards already and cornerstones, which means he would be playing off the ball a lot. So once again were hoping a 30% floor spacer pans out and becomes a solid shooter. Seems super risky, I know they say you dont draft based on needs, but when you're the worst shooting team in the NBA, it's time to think about that a little differently.

They could also trade one of the existing point guards to better balance the roster...

I'm talking about Fultz or Anthony in this case. Suggs is not a point guard as it presently stands.

I would too... IF the Magic trade Fultz or Anthony.

Return to Orlando Magic
