I will be onboard tomorrow. Just need to get it out of my system. I doubt people would have been happy with my 6th pick. Jarace Walker and the. Dick at 11.
I was just joking with you

Draft Holmgren

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

At least we didn’t draft a foreign prospect that doesn’t even want to come play for us.

This is mine as well. I know it's only 3 years, but that contract is nuts for a guy not even top 20.

Really everything about Houston is a mess. Including the glut of raw high upside chuckers. Maybe one of them hits, but if not they are going to be real bad for a while.

I would have wanted the Magic to draft a maybe in the second round over the annual invitation to Cash Considerations.

Tristan Vukčević, Rayan Rupert, and Tarik Biberović are guys that could have been draft and stash types.

20M per.

He's a 15/2/3 player that averages 52 starts a year over his six years. What's not to like ?????

p.s. Brooks' rookie year leads his games started stat line.

I really thought he cost himself a LOT of money with his BS act last year. I thought he might come back humbled and refocused on a $8m deal…but HOU reinforced his behavior and subpar play…still could work out with strong QB in FVV & tough coach in Udoka, but more likely he plays down to the young knuckleheads in the locker room.

If they had gotten Lopez along with FVV, maybe a different picture, IMO. Two strong voices who can deliver on the court, on both ends, would’ve really been interesting…in terms of leadership and example of professionalism vs swag and big talk BS.

Oh I wouldn’t have minded that at all. I was referencing the whole Fran Vasquez fiasco.

Far overpay on a longterm deal (example: Dillon Brooks = 4 yr / $80M with Houston :clown:).

I know everyone wanted us to make a big move but as that Hollinger article highlighted, both Orlando and Indiana chose internal growth and financial flexibility over wild spending sprees. We have done that before with Biz and regretted it.
