Magic Interested in Siakam? - Raptors Beat Writer Says So

Siakam is a 4. You know how I know...because Toronto went out and acquired and then paid a center in the last 5 months. If there was any chance Siakam could play the 5 for more than a handful of minutes a game they would not have done that.

Zero chance the Magic have any interest in Siakam, outside of Toronto dumping salary, which ain't happening.

Paolo is significantly bigger than Siakam. Do the Magic view Paolo as a center long term? That would probably make more sense.

I mean, I know they can't be talking about Franz Wagner (when they just say "Wagner") because he has a lot more value than PS.

Fans around the league are criminally underrating Franz... Think they just see a tall white guy on a non-playoff team, getting garbage baskets. Seems like the national media has caught on to how good VVangner actually is at basketball.

Not that there are a lot of fair trades put out by homers on boards like these, but it seems like a lot of folks treat him as almost a throw-in or more of a rotation, but non starter on a championship level team.

Even on the trade board on Realgm, that has plenty of aforementioned homers, he ended up ranking 22nd in trade value. Me looking that list over, i wouldn't trade Franz straight up for the following guys above him: Jaylen Brown (too expensive starting next year), Trae, KAT, Garland, maybe Mobley, that one is close...so i guess my personal list without looking over guys behind Franz, he would rank 17th most trade value.

Probably some older guys too, but that would just be more about where are young guys are in our team trajectory, rather than how good the other players are...like KD, not sure he turns us into a championship team alone, but he is still KD, and a few years of KD is pretty awesome no matter the price. oh, and this homer has one other Magician higher on that list for trade value, in Paolo, who I have at #10, while the board has him 14
